Halter Rules:
A. Judging Criteria: Models must fit breed standards and conformation. They are also judged on Condition and/or quality of workmanship.
B. No dolls, props or tack; except a proper halter. The halter is optional; ask your judge.
C. Original Finish Halter and Original Finish Collectability will be judged AT THE SAME TIME this year. If you would like your model to be judged for the Collectability division, you MUST create the additional 3X5 card for your judge. However, if you do not want your horse considered for a Collectability NAN card, feel free to only fill out a Halter 3X5 card.
D. Models entered in the Collectability division are REQUIRED to have a reference sheet (COA, explanation card, or info sheet etc), explaining WHY that model should be considered “collectable.”
E. Both Custom and Artist Resin Halter will be judged AT THE SAME TIME, as their respective Workmanship classes. If you want your model to be judged for the Workmanship division you MUST create the additional 3X5 card for your judge. I. This year we are opting for a smaller classlist… but judges will be informed to NOT be afraid to split the class, if entries warrant it. Classes will be split in the following manner: Type (Stone or Breyer: primarily for OF classes), Size (Trad/Classic vs. Mini), Gender, and/or Breed.
